To begin, this debut digital album/project is dedicated to all of my fellow music junkies out there, who, like myself, can’t sing nor play a decent lick on any physical instrument. It’s for those of us who’ve always imagined being in band but never pursued it for whatever reason. However, we all appreciate the feelings, memories and interpersonal connections that music brings us when we listen to it. This is what I wanted to celebrate.

What I hope you will get from it, is your initial reaction will be “Hey...this kinda sounds like so and so.” The track titles and overall sound are a "nod-and-tip-of-the-hat" as to which artist/s influenced said song. I’m sure most of you will make the connection. Taking instrumental melodies and riffs I created as well as other instrument loops and samples (using only GarageBand on my iPad), I feel I captured their basic essence in these tracks, but I'll let you the listener decide.

My project was a few months in the making (as I didn’t want to pull a 'Chinese Democracy' on this thing), as well as a fun genre-hopping and challenging experiment for myself. It was also a learning experience on the elements of basic song structure.

Thanks for checking out my little album. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed the challenge of making it.
